After a nice day out at Healesville Sanctuary with my family, we decided to stay back in Diamond Creek for a few hours to avoid peak-hour traffic on a Monday night. The Golden Hills Brewery looked like a nice family-friendly place to try out, so that’s where we went. It was quite early, so there were not many people there when we arrived. A few people having a beer out the front with their dogs and that was about it. As time progressed it started to get busier.
The decor was both modern, but also had a rustic and industrial charm to it and seemed very clean and well organised. The waitress was very nice and helpful, bringing my son pencils and pictures to colour in whilst he waited for his food.

I was very happy with my hot salami and prosciutto pizza. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pizza that had honey on it before. All of the ingredients seemed to be of a very high quality and I’d definitely recommend checking this one out.
Kayla had the chicken schnitzel burger with fries. As you can see, that’s real chicken breast and some good quality chips.
We got Charlie the Margherita pizza from the kids’ menu. But as usual, he was more interested in mum’s chippies.
Overall, we really enjoyed the food here. Charlie also enjoyed running around the place which was a little embarrassing.
