LEGO Friends ADVENTURE CAMP BRIDGE 30398 Review
This Lego Friends set is from 2016 and comes in a polybag. It was originally given away as a promotional item on the Lego website or in Lego stores for people who spent a certain amount of money on Friends, Elves or Disness Princess Lego sets. It is part of the Lego Friends Adventure Camp subtheme.
It contains 31 pieces and I’m guessing the character included is called Olivia. As a freebie, this is quite a nice set for a kid to receive with fun accessories like the frog, camera, purse and map. This could easily be added to any other Adventure Camp set from 2016 or easily just mixed up in your general Lego tub.
Why did I buy this?
I picked this set up cheap on eBay as an impulse buy. I have found that Lego Friends sets are quite a cheap way to bulk up your collection. I am planning on expanding the water scenes of my Jurassic Park build and I like adding bits of light blue as shallow water and I like the little bridge here. Given, Netflix has a new show Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, this kind of build seems particularly fitting.
I also can’t get enough of the tiny Lego frogs. Camera pieces are also great to add to tourists in my Jurassic Park build. Whilst the actual figurines in the Lego Friends collection are not useful to me, some of the pieces certainly are, but the colour palette doesn’t always work for me, so I’m not going to go too crazy on these.
