Australian EB Games stores have recently added Smart Home sections featuring a range of Google Home products, Amazon Alexa and Phillips Hue lighting.

Whilst these are not video games, it seems like a logical inclusion for them to diversify their product range. There would be a decent overlap with older gamers who are also interested in modern technology for their homes.

The prices at EB Games are usually close to RRP, but they will usually price match to other nearby stores within the same shopping centre, which means you can spend your gift EB Games gift cards here and earn membership reward points if you’re a regular EB Games shopper.

You might also be able to pick up some crazy deals on these products next time they have a massive sale, which seems to be every other month.

It is exciting to think that you could potentially trade in your old and unwanted games to EB Games for a new light bulb for your smart home.
