I’m a big fan of all-you-can-eat restaurants, especially those that cater to the family market – RIP Smorgy’s and Sizzler. An all-you-can-eat restaurant with a big variety of food can be a pretty safe bet for catering to a wide audience of people. Unless they are vegetarian maybe, but generally it can be pretty safe.
We went to the Braybrook Hotel Internation Buffet as it was a reasonable middle point for several family members for my three-year-old son’s birthday. The combination of varied food and a children’s play area made this a definite winner for our family birthday.
Braybrook Hotel All You Can Eat Buffet Photos
We got there before the place opened whilst we waited for everyone to gather. This was great as it allowed me to take photos of the full offering of the Braybrook Hotel Internation Buffet before all the food got too ravaged. So below, you can see fairly untainted photos of all the food that was available when we were there.
The Greek Salad was an essential part of each plate of food I ate. I’ve really been keen on Greek Salad lately.
I wanted some of the Chinese Broccoli but I don’t like Oyster Sauce so I didn’t have any.
I planned to try the Sausage Rolls and Cannelloni but didn’t get to it.
The carvery stations were my favourite section, I had plenty of the Roast Beef from this section.
The Baked Leg of Ham and especially the Roast Loin of Pork were among my favourite items at the buffet.
I only had one piece of pizza, the Salami one, and it was better than most buffet pizzas I’ve had before, so that’s a win.
I think I had some Chocolate or Rainbow Icecream for desert but can’t recall which. It was with a bunch of other stuff and I didn’t take any photos of what I actually put on my plate.
I had some of the Chocolate Mud Cake with my Ice Cream.
I had some Chocolate Sauce too.
Braybrook Hotel Kids Zone & Playground
When reviewing restaurants and playgrounds, I always try to avoid posting pictures of random kids and by the time we got to check out the playground, there were kids crawling all over the place so this is the only photo I took of the Braybrook Hotel Kids Zone Playground.
The playground here is pretty cool, there’s a whole upstairs area in a loft that is a great use of space. It allows a big slide to let kids go from top to bottom which was pretty cool. The overall playground is about as wide as that part of the building, so it’s pretty good.
View from Above
Here’s a view covering much of the restaurant and buffet taken from the upstairs playground. The tables below the playground were the busiest and were not visible.
Braybrook Hotel Buffet Pricing
Below is the current pricing from when we went in January 2024. We paid $34 each for adults as it was a weekend and lunchtime.
As someone who doesn’t eat fish or seafood, I loved this selection of food for the price point. I have been to far more expensive buffets at places like Crown Casino’s Kitchen Workshop and Conservatory which cost more and include a lot of fancy seafood that I won’t eat but causes the prices to be higher. This is a great alternative for me and I definitely recommend it as a well-priced crowd pleaser. It is definitely better than some other buffets nearby such as Food Star.
