I had a late night at work last night, followed by an early one today and just knew I needed a big meal to get me going, more than the 2-minute noodles in my drawer at the office, so once again I jumped on Uber Eats and I’m not quite sure what I was looking for initially but I ended up looking at pizza. This was at about 9 a.m.
Pizza for Breakfast in Melbourne
I saw that Evergreen Pizzeria in Docklands appeared to be open, and since I like reviewing food on here, especially pizza, it seemed like one that would be worth checking out. I noticed that all of their pizzas were quite well priced, at $17.90, which is pretty good for a large pizza on Uber Eats. Given that I’m an Uber One member, I had to try and spend $20+ to get free delivery. My colleague whom I normally split Uber Eats orders was working from home today, so I splurged on a meal deal. One large traditional pizza with one garlic bread and 1.25L drink for $24.90.
I had this delivered by about 9.40 a.m. which is pretty good, you don’t often get to have a full pizza meal fresh for breakfast in Melbourne.
Evergreen Pizzeria – Mexicana Pizza Review
This is a thin base pizza with tomato base, capsicum, jalapenos and pepperoni topped with mozzarella cheese and chilli flakes.
It had the right amount of spice to it to enjoy. I think the quality of the pepperoni seemed quite good. Better than the cheap salami used at some of the other cheaper pizza stores near me. I think the thin base made it easy to enjoy the flavour of the pizza and for the price, I felt it was very good quality and value.
Out of 11 past ratings on Uber Eats, the Mexicana from Evergreen Pizzeria has a 100% satisfaction rate.
I would definitely order from Evergreen Pizzeria Docklands again, especially in the morning when most other pizza stores are not open.
